COMMUNICATIONS
The Dance and Music Academy communicates with families via email. Please make sure the email address you provide us with is to an account you check regularly. Please add trifectadma@gmail.com to your safe sender list. If you do not receive a welcome email upon enrollment, please check your spam folder.
To ensure all inquiries are properly directed and handled with care, all communication regarding the dance studio should be sent to trifectadma@gmail.com. This centralized channel allows us to route messages to the appropriate team member while maintaining the safety and privacy of our staff, students, and families.
Please do not contact faculty directly via their personal email addresses or phone numbers, even if you have access to this information. Thank you for respecting these boundaries and helping us uphold a secure and respectful environment for everyone.
Why doesn’t anyone answer the phone when I call before 3:30 PM on weekdays?
The same time we hold classes is also when our front desk is open and someone is available to take your call. The best time to call the studio is during our operating hours, which is Monday through Thursday from 3:30-9:00pm.

Our Community
In September, our students volunteered at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), where they learned the power of community engagement by packing meals for children in need!
Our student volunteers joined together to measure, scoop, and seal nutritious meals. It was a hands-on opportunity for them to see the direct impact of their hard work. Every bag packed will travel across the globe to nourish and support hungry children.
We are proud to give our students opportunities to immerse themselves in the full meaning of service and global awareness. At FMSC, they were able to learn about hunger around the world and how a simple act of volunteering can save lives. A bonus? They worked side-by-side with friends, family, and fellow community members to share the spirit of teamwork and collective action.
The FMSC event provided our students with a chance to share a tangible experience of philanthropy and empathy, deepening their understanding of their role in the world. We can’t wait to see how our students will continue to band together and make a real difference this season!

The Power of Teamwork
In the world of dance, theatre, and music, it's easy to focus on the individual performer, the spotlight, the solo, the technical precision of one artist. While we value each student’s individuality and creativity, we know that some of the greatest successes are team successes. While dance is an art of personal expression, it’s also a powerful lesson in collaboration, support, and collective effort.
Teamwork is the invisible foundation for every performance. It’s what transforms a group of dancers into a cohesive company and a rehearsal into a piece of art.
Choreography and Form: In a corps or ensemble, every dancer must be exactly on time, spaced precisely, and moving with the same energy. This takes constant non-verbal communication, trust, and the willingness to adjust for the person next to you. It's an unspoken commitment to a unified goal: presenting meaningful art.
Backstage Support: Teamwork shines brightest when no one is looking. It's helping a fellow dancer with a quick costume change, offering a last-minute reminder of a forgotten prop, or simply giving an encouraging hug before they step onto the stage. A supportive team creates a safe and confident environment for everyone.
The skills students develop while working as a team in the studio extend far beyond the stage and into every aspect of their lives.
Communication: Dancers learn to give and receive constructive feedback gracefully. They learn to communicate their needs and listen actively to their instructors and peers.
Responsibility: When a dancer misses excessive rehearsals or misses a section of choreography during performances, it affects the entire group. This environment teaches students that their individual effort is essential to the group's success, fostering a strong sense of personal responsibility.
Empathy and Encouragement: True teamwork means celebrating others' achievements and helping them through challenges. It teaches patience, empathy, and the understanding that lifting others up helps the whole group soar.
Ultimately, the studio is a powerful training ground for life. By prioritizing teamwork, we're helping to develop compassionate, responsible, and collaborative human beings ready to succeed in any role on stage, in school, and in the community.
