DRESS CODE
Proper dance attire helps instructors safely observe alignment and technique while creating a professional learning environment. Please label all dancewear and shoes with your dancer's name.
General Studio Guidelines
Applies to all classes unless otherwise noted.
Hair must be secured away from the face. Some classes require hair in a bun.
No denim or clothing with zippers.
No large, loose, or dangling jewelry.
No street shoes in the studios.
Dance shoes should never be worn outdoors.
We proudly offer adaptive dress code accommodations. Please contact us if your dancer has sensory or accessibility needs.
SUMMER DANCE CODE: GENERAL

Dancers are required to keep their hair off of their face.
Dancers are not permitted to wear denim, clothing with zippers, dresses (unless fitted shorts or a leotard are worn underneath) street shoes, or jewelry.
Fitted t-shirts, leggings, leotards, tights are acceptable.
Dance shoes are preferred, but socks are acceptable if necessary. We also have assorted dance shoes available in our "borrow bin"

Skin-tone tights with matching ballet shoes or
Pink tights with pink ballet shoes

Black or navy dance pants, athletic pants, or sweatpants

Camisole leotard (see color chart below)
Footed or convertible tights
Ballet slippers that match the tights (skin tone or pink)
Optional ballet skirt in matching leotard color or black
Male-identifying dancers
Solid gray unitard
Black ballet slippers
Black socks
Pointe
For performances only:
Convertible tights
Pointe shoes matching the dancer's tights
Painting pointe shoes is not required for class or rehearsal.
