Trifecta Dance Collective
Established ten years ago, The Trifecta Dance Collective is a professional contemporary dance company based in Chicago that is dedicated to serving and connecting with a variety of communities. These include our local neighborhood, the collaborative community of artists within our collective, the dynamic community of young dancers, and the broader community of dance artists nationwide. TDC is devoted to empowering and nurturing the next wave of community-driven dancers by offering opportunities for success through their youth company programming, based at DMA.
The Infinity Collective
Chicago Repertory Ballet
The partnership between DMA and Chicago Repertory Ballet (CRB) provides students with direct access to industry professionals, offering them invaluable mentorship opportunities that can help shape their dance careers. By being connected with CRB, students have a clearly paved pathway from their training at DMA to the professional world, established by the guidance and support of the professionals at CRB. This connection not only fosters growth and refinement in their dance skills, but also provides insight into the realities of a professional dance career, giving students a comprehensive and holistic training experience that prepares them for success in the world of ballet.
The DMA partnership with the Infinity Collective (IC) Hip Hop Company offers students a unique opportunity to not only develop a solid foundation in various hip-hop styles, but also to immerse themselves in a vibrant and dynamic dance community as a pre-professional dancer under the IC umbrella. Through this partnership, students can hone their skills, build confidence, and find avenues to express their creativity through hip-hop dance. Whether they are looking to perform, compete, or take their training to the next level, the partnership with the Infinity Collective opens doors to new possibilities and growth in the world of hip-hop dance.
Glenbrook South Titans Poms
The collaborative programming between DMA Poms Company and GBS Titans offers a transformative journey for dancers, beginning in elementary school and continuing through to high school. This pathway seamlessly integrates top technical training for students interested in auditioning for the high school poms team. The partnership includes instruction in the "Titans of Integrity" social-emotional curriculum. This unique program was developed in partnership between DMA faculty and the GBS company directors, aiming to cultivate qualities such as teamwork, perseverance, and integrity among the dancers. By combining dance instruction with the development of essential life skills, the partnership between DMA Poms Company and GBS Titans provides a holistic and enriching experience for all participants.
Phosphorescent Theatrical Productions
Phosphorescent Theatrical Productions cultivates aspiring theatre artists through a comprehensive program that blends rigorous classes, workshops, and personalized coaching with immersive production experiences and original work development, positioning them at the forefront of pre-professional theatre. Individualized training, led by industry veterans, focuses on practical skills like audition mastery, self-tape creation, and vocal refinement, simulating professional industry demands and providing targeted feedback for accelerated growth. Functioning as an incubator for new theatrical voices, we offer affordable performance spaces, including our Annex Black Box, enabling artists to showcase developmental and full-fledged productions, fostering a vibrant artistic community and supporting the evolution of theatrical expression.
